We drove south from Bombala and crossed over into the Victorian border on the Princess Highway. We pulled up in Lake Tyer to have a look at a free camp but it was raining and not suitable for a camper trailer. We drove into the nearby caravan park but they were booked out for a convention. Further on we arrived in Lakes Entrance and after reading some reviews and considering the weather we decided to book a budget cabin at Withers Caravan park. It was so good not having to set up the camper! We went to the Sports club to treat ourselves for Valentines day. They had a great little indoor play area so we could enjoy a drink and a meal while Stella played with other kids. Zane ordered John Dory fillet for his first time and it was very good!
The following day was bright and sunny. Zane and Stella rode around Lakes Entrance looking at the different fishing boats and trawlers at the moorings. Then we had a family stroll through the main strip and Zane visited the shell and seafood museum. Finally we had a quick swim in the pool and bbq at the caravan park.

We drove through to Traralgon and camped in a nice green patch at the caravan park. Very clean sites and amenities, it was great. We just chilled for most of the time in Traralgon. Allison from uni days with Janelle came for a visit and we had dinner at The Green Olive the following night. We didn't see much of Traralgon as the good weather and large site gave us an opportunity to wash, dry and relax with a good book. Sorry family we didn't take any photos. But stay tuned for Melbourne and Geelong as we have some great plans ahead.
